30 years of occupation of Azerbaijani Lands by Armenia and its non-compliance with numerous UN Security Council resolutions calling on Armenia to withdraw its troops from internationally recognised territory of Azerbaijan has culminated in the most recent flare up in the conflict in September 2020.
The war waged by the Armenian military and the brutal force they applied to occupy 20% of Azerbaijan’s territory has resulted in ethnic cleansing and forced eviction of nearly a million of Azerbaijanis from their homes.
Families of hundreds of thousands of civilians who live near the conflict zone, families of soldiers who are dying every day defending their lands, families of IDPs from the occupied region all need our support.
We are gathering funds to help them with accommodation, food, basic goods, medical assistance, etc. They need us now more than ever.
We call on the Azerbaijani diaspora and all those who consider themselves friends of Azerbaijan for their support. Every donation, no matter how small will make a huge difference in the lives of those disadvantaged as a result of the conflict.
I will be in charge of withdrawing the funds, purchasing all supplies (mentioned above) to donate to the people of Azerbaijan. I will also give a portion of all funds to families in need directly with the help of my family.
All funds will be used to purchase necessary aid including: medical supplies, clothing, food, water, etc for all those in need. We would also like to financially support families of our fallen brothers, civilians who's relatives dies in the bombings and those escaping their homes to safety.
We will work with local authorities and on the ground teams to ensure all aid reaches exactly where its needed as they will be transporting the donated goods. All funds will be withdrawn by myself or members of our fundraising team and used accordingly to purchase the necessary items and to support the less fortunate families, where possible. There will be receipts and photo/video evidence of everything which will will provide to all donors via email.
