Hi guys, to those who don’t know who I am I am Seth’s sister Shelby. Im sure many of you know and have seen the posts and news about Captain, Seth’s baby. To those that don’t know, a very tragic incident happened at the beginning of this week, with having to go to 3 different vets he has been settling in at an amazing vet in Portland taking the best care he needs. Captain has been through the ringer and is still not in the clear yet. Having lots of hardware in his leg, a few breaks in his pelvis, hip out of place and more, he had lost a lot of blood and needed to get blood transfusions. After a 5 hour surgery a couple days ago, all prayers were being answered until yesterday, Captain had a delayed reaction to the blood transfusions and it is attacking his immune system. With that being said, hoping he would be able to come home this week turned into next week. As many of you know, owning a pet is not cheap and having to have them held over night at the vet being monitored every minute adds up. Captain is going on week 2 at the vet. He needs the strength to come home to his fur sister Dixie, his baby brother Dausen and his parents. Seth didn’t want to ask for help, but with the bill progressing and Captain still fighting I’m sure you can imagine it’s nothing many people can afford. Seth got Captain when he first bought Perry’s Lobster Shack almost 6 years ago, Captain is his baby and would do anything for him, clearly. The love he has for this dog is unbelievable. This past year being a business owner wasn’t the greatest year as many of you know, but Seth still was and would do anything to help/support anybody and the community when needed. So I’m hoping people would do the same for him. Anything helps at this point, if not then heavy thoughts & prayers are.
