Hi my name is Radasha Gregory I have 2 beautiful boys, Sheldon 7years old and Miles 9 months old. After 4 months of all kinds of tests, blood test, blood transfusions and bone marrow Biopsy's, Miles has been diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease specifically "Pearson's Syndrome" He is 1 of fewer then a thousand children in the country to have this Very Rare Syndrome. This Disease is still in its beginning stages of being researched. Trial test are ongoing on how to and what kinds of treatments that they can do to help children like Miles. The doctors here are doing all that they can right now, to keep his body organs and blood levels functioning properly.

I can not return to work at all due to his constant weekly different doctors appointments, physical therapy procedures, sometimes emergency room trips, and his immune system being so compromised and so on and and so forth. As a single mother I am struggling financially to get Miles to his different doctors appointments, pay our bills etc. We travel back and forth from VA, to DC and Maryland to different specialize doctors. Soon we will have to travel to Philadelphia and Boston, to two of 4 hospitals that specialize in his rare syndrome. So I am seeking help for this long road we have ahead of us.
