Dear friends and family,
We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and a deep sense of loss. In the early morning of October 2nd, my beloved sister experienced an unimaginable tragedy - the loss of her precious son, Hunter, to suicide. Hunter was 22. He had a smile that lit up any room he walked into. He was a long distance truck driver , who was, as we know now, very lonely. He was just home to celebrate Michele’s birthday on September 14th.
During this difficult time, we as a family are doing all that we can to support her and her boys.
Michele is a remarkable woman, known for her unwavering strength, kindness, and love. She has always been there for others, providing a helping hand and a listening ear whenever needed.
The purpose of this GoFundMe campaign is to provide financial assistance to Michele as she navigates the heartbreaking journey of mourning the loss of her son. We understand that no amount of money can ever replace what she has lost, but we hope to alleviate some of the financial burdens that she may face during this time.
Everything is so unbelievably expensive.
Donations will go towards covering funeral expenses, travel expenses to Utah to bring Hunter home, grief counseling, and any other necessary support services as she and the boys cope with this devastating loss. Additionally, we want to give Michele the opportunity to take time off work without worrying about finances. She is an assisted living caregiver and is only paid when she works. This will allow her to focus on healing and finding solace while making sure she can continue to pay rent and care for Hunter’s younger brother who is only 16.
Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant impact on Michele’s life. Your support will not only provide practical assistance but also serve as a reminder to Michele that she is surrounded by a caring community.
Please keep Michele and her boys, in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for being part of this journey with us.
With heart felt gratitude,
