On August 31, George was in a motorcycle accident. He sustained extensive injuries and has been hospitalized in the ICU since then. He’s undergone multiple surgeries to stabilize him, with more to come. At this point, they are facing several weeks/months of continued hospitalization with many months/years of rehabilitation to follow.

As you can imagine, seeing the love of her life in this condition has been devastating for Nancy. In the midst of this heartbreaking situation, Nancy continues to balance work, being present to support George at the hospital, show up for her girls at home and trying to keep life moving for their whole family. George will be unable to work for the foreseeable future so their family is feeling the financial burden of this as well.

Maintaining every day life is challenging on two incomes. It’s impossible with only one and the addition of hospital bills and other expenses.
