We're a newlywed couple (10-1-21) and my husband woke up early in the morning(5am) like normal for work immediately vomiting yellow bile and feeling sick but the provider in him wouldn't allow him to call off. He arrived at work feeling worse and after attempting to still work decided to go home for rest and a doctors appointment for 1:40pm. By then his health had shifted downward in the worst way. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital and an emergency appendectomy was performed. Doctors said recovery should be a day or two. Lorenzo's health continued to decline and at one point he coded out in which a second emergency surgery was performed. My husband has been in the hospital well over a week, the doctors have no idea when his medical issue will be over, they just notified us that this will be "Long Term", his employer denied his FMLA, he is still hospitalized and body is too weak to perform a needed 3rd surgery for a bowel perforation.
