Tax deductible
Update:

Barbie has an appointment tomorrow with the University of Illininois Veternary Teaching Animal School.

Barbie will be evaluated by a doctor and surgery is scheduled for Thursday. They will keep her overnight with a possible additional day for recovery.

The rescue will need to put down $3,500 tomorrow and if there are complications then an additional $1,500 would necessary.

thank you to Aimee Katz for her $3,500 donation. Without her this surgery would not be possible.

thank you to everyone who donated to Barbie surgery.

we will keep everyone posted tomorrow and on Thursday.

Barbie is only a puppy that was diagnosed with diagrammatic hernia. She and her sister were found as strays and recently was rescued by Perfectly Posh Paws. Barbie is a just a baby and this surgery is necessary to save her life.

The University of Illininois Veternary Teaching School has agreed to perform the risky surgery. Since the rescue is very small, they don’t have the funds to pay for this expensive surgery.

A diaphragmatic hernia is a condition in which a break in the diaphragm allows abdominal organs to move into the chest. In dogs, being hit by a car is a common cause of diaphragmatic hernia, although defects of the diaphragm that are present at birth (congenital) may also be a cause.

Barbie hernia is very pronounced and large over her rib cage and heart. We are asking for even the smallest amount will help whether it’s $5.00 or $10.00. We are grateful for anyone who can share, donate or pray.

Join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Perfectly Posh Paws, and any donation will help make an impact toward Barbie surgery.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
