My Aunt Irma  went into the hospital last week to have her gall bladder removed, which was supposed to be an outpatient procedure. She ended up getting a chronic case of Pancreatitis. Her kidneys are now failing and she is on a ventilator. They moved her to ICU today, where she is being monitored very carfully and the doctors are doing everything they can, but it is uncertain at this point.
