Stem cell therapy for Bronchiectasis Lung Disease

Donation protected
My sister Bonnie is my very best friend!  Although we are 13 years apart, we spend every minute we can together and only live 7 minutes away from each other.  For the past 15-20 years she has been struggling with a chronic condition called bronchiectasis.  This condition stretches out the bronchial airways in the lungs and eventually the airways become so enlarged that they scar and tighten the lungs up and prevent breathing.  Along with this disease comes random infections that are just in the air that we all breathe.  The odd bacterium in the air that we don't have reactions to cause her terrible infections.  Since the airways are enlarged, the bacteriums in the air sit in the bottom of her airways and can't be coughed out, so they just fester and become weird infections.  So far she currently suffers from  MAI (Micoavium Intracellular Disease) and in the past has contracted Nocardia.   No cardia was treated with a 6 month intravenous antibotic treatment, but the treatment for MAI is a cocktail of three antibiotics which is similar to chemotherapy.  She has tried it several times and each time has not been able to tolerate it.   They say sometimes the cure is worse than the illness and that cure is deadly!  She would lose her hair, shuffle when she walked, suffered from fevers, turned gray and couldn't breathe.  Her health seriously is declining to such an extent that now she can't even go to our family reunions in Utah/Idaho because the 2000 feet difference in altitude caused her oxygen to drop to 55!  We rushed her to the hospital and she was there the rest of the trip.  Now she is on oxygen all the time, not just as needed.  She hasn't been the same since that trip last July.  She has random fevers, and is now unable to clean her house, enjoy trips to the movies (the walk is too far) or even enjoy her birthday party.  We planned a wonderful getaway for her 70th birthday and she was too sick to go, so we changed the plan last minute - which embarrassed her.

We've tried all of the above treatments and herbs (both American and Chinese) and nothing seems to work.  It may bide her time, but nothing permanent.  Through research, we found out that the Lung Institute in Scottsdale, AZ has stem cell treatments that give us hope for her lungs!  We are so excited and have no other alternatives to turn to at this point.  Unfortunately the price of this new treatment and the travel fees are very expensive for her.  She has been on disability for many years and her husband is a U.S. Marine combat veteran who only has his pension to support them.  We are asking for your help in raising the fees it would take to travel to Scottsdale however many times it takes and for the treatments.  This would mean the world to her and shock and surprise her.  She has been praying for some help and I would love to have these treatments paid for so she and her husband wouldn't have to go into further debt at their age.

If stem cell treatments can help her lungs to regenerate some healthy tissue than she could easily live a MUCH longer life because she has no other health issues!!  She doesn't drink, smoke or even curse!  She is a young minded, beautiful person inside and out.  Even when she is sick she still is serving others and taking in meals to the sick and aged.  She can't hardly breathe, but she would never complain or ask for any help.  I cannot imagine my life without her!  We've lost everyone else in our immediate family and she is all I have left.
