Hi my name is Natalia Peker. I live in Goulburn . I was born an Odessa and was risen in Kherson. I graduated from Krimean Medical University .

I have re united with my 84 years old mother , who escape from Kherson almost 3 weeks ago.?It was miracle ! She still can not believe that she is here in safety !

Needless to say , what she went through as well as all of us . My nephew and his wife are working tirelessly at Ukrainian hospital , saving lives . My aunt with my cousins and her grandchild took the bus from Nikolaev . That was one of the ten buses and only 9 out of ten reached the Poland border . The 10th and the last bus, caring little children and mothers was shot. We still do not know how many people ( women and children were killed, how many were wounded , how many survived) .

We are struggling to pay all affairs for all refugees desperate to re unite with their family here .

I paid for all mothers journey and visas for my family , but struggling to pay for air fares for my aunt .

there is story behind our connection - my aunt is not only my aunt , not only has the same name as I am. She was risen with me since she was 11 years old . My mother has adopted her after sudden death of her mother , my grandmother.

By daunting coincidence , my cousins son is 11 years old .
