On December 18, 2015, Jared Stearns was unexpectedly diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He has been released from his initial hospitalization and will now receive treatments on an outpatient basis.
The next 6 to 8 months will be the most aggressive phase of his treatment in his fight against leukemia, and will require at least one surgery, regular chemo therapy treatments, possible blood and platelet transfusions, spinal taps, and possible further biopsies.
Altogether, his treatments will occur over the course of the next 3 years.
We have set up this account to help Jared and his family cover expenses they will incur over the next few years - and particularly over the next few months - that are not covered by health insurance.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
