On December 11, 2015, my nephew, Shane was in a very violent accident in Phoenix, AZ. He suffered many broken bones, internal bleeding, and a severe head injury. It will likely be about a week before he can breathe on his own. There is still bleeding in the brain and doctors are watching him closely. They wake him up twice a day for 6 min at a time to make sure his brain is still functioning correctly, and praise God, it is. He has his own nurse 24/7, that monitors everything that happens with him. His Mom is from Illinois and will be down there for at least a month, maybe more. The family is looking to raise living and food expenses for her, so she can be by his side. She will be unable to work while she is there. God is good.
