At just 9 years old, Idan has set himself an epic challenge: to take on the National Three Peaks—Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon—in under 24 hours. It’s not your typical summer holiday activity, but then again, he’s not your typical kid.
Why?
He's doing it to raise money for his beloved football team, Ercall Aces, to help fund next season’s kits, training sessions, and travel. This team has given him confidence, friendships, and unforgettable memories. Now, he’s giving back in the biggest way he knows how—one mountain at a time.
️ What’s the Challenge?
The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales—all in a single day. That’s over 10,000 feet of climbing, 23 miles of hiking, and more than 450 miles of travel in between. It’s a serious test of stamina, strength, and spirit—especially for someone who still gets half-price meals!
Of course, while he might just about reach the pedals, Adults will be behind the wheel for the mountain marathon.
Why It Matters
Ercall Aces isn’t just about football—it’s about building character, teamwork, and resilience in young players. This fundraiser helps ensure every child on the team gets the chance to keep playing the sport they love, without barriers.
This isn’t just a challenge. It’s a mission. A 9-year-old showing us all what determination really looks like.
When’s It Happening?
The challenge kicks off on 5th August—and we’ll be sharing updates, photos, and plenty of proud moments along the way.
Fancy a Challenge Too?
If this has lit a spark in you, there are still spaces left to join us! We'd love to have more people on board for the adventure—and to help support this amazing cause.
If you can spare a few quid, cheer him on with a donation. And if you can’t, a share goes a long way too. Let’s help him climb every step knowing his community’s right behind him.
