Hi, my name is Christina and I’m asking for help during a very difficult period in my life.

Over two years ago, my car broke down and I wasn’t able to replace it. Losing my car didn’t just take away transportation—it caused me to lose over half of my income. Since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to get by, but without reliable transportation, it’s been incredibly hard to move forward.

Right now, not having a car means:

• Limited access to better-paying work opportunities

• Higher costs just to get to doctor’s appointments for myself and my kids

• Paying more for groceries and essentials due to limited access

• Falling further behind on bills despite my efforts

In addition to caring for my family, I actively do TNR (trap, neuter, return) and feed two communities of stray cats. This is something I can’t walk away from—these animals rely on me, and I’ve worked hard to prevent more litters and suffering by getting them fixed.

Right now, transportation is one of my biggest challenges. I rely on expensive rides or have to ask others for help, which isn’t always possible. Having my own car would allow me to continue this work responsibly without constantly depending on others.

A reliable used car would make an immediate and lasting difference. It would allow me to work more consistently, reduce everyday expenses, take care of my kids, and continue helping these animals in a sustainable way.

My goal is $5,000, which will allow me to purchase a dependable used car and cover registration, insurance, and any immediate repairs needed to safely get back on the road. I have my eye on a few at Affordable Auto and other local places that I could afford for that price.
