On June 9th 2024, my son Blake suffered a critical injury. He sustained 3rd degree burns on over 46% of his body. He is currently at St Francis Memorial hospital in San Francisco. Without exaggeration, his status is severely critical and unknown. Medical professionals have clearly explained his kidneys have shut down 100%, he's not breathing on his own, has multiple surgeries ahead of him and has many possible complications which may occur. If he makes it to a stable situation, he will at best be hospitalized for half a year, then face a lifetime of physical therapy and medical issues. Our lives are forever changed. Funds will go towards his care, as well as financially assisting us to continue to travel over 100 miles away, several times per week to visit and support his recovery efforts. We pray the funds won't have to go towards final expenses, but we are preparing for the worst as we've been overwhelmed with not having any guarantees. We, as a family are trying to balance the dark reality of this situation while gathering the strength to carry on our responsibilities without crumbling.
