21 for 21
I am Courtney, I have led a privileged life. I have my health, I have my family, I have my education, I am well cared for, but many are not. Globally it is estimated that there are 1 billion children that have experienced neglect, physical, sexual or emotional abuse.
On the 30th January 2022 in Cape Town, Olivia Sieff’s life was tragically and violently taken by a remorseless hit-and-run driver in Cape Town. Liv was only 18. She had submitted her UCAS application to study in the UK and was about to sign a global modelling contract with Next Models. Liv had achieved her dreams, but never got to live them. She was a beloved friend and will always be remembered as being the most beautiful soul.
The Olivia Sieff Foundation was set up by Olivia’s mum, dad and brother (Jonny, Christine and Nicki) as a legacy to the memory of their beloved Olivia. The foundation supports the assistance and protection of abused, neglected, abandoned or abducted children. This is a cause that was very close to Olivia’s heart.
In December 2024, I will be running a half marathon to raise money for the Olivia Sieff Foundation. I will be using the health and ability I have been blessed with to complete this half marathon. I will be running for the neglected and abused children across the globe and in loving memory of Olivia Sieff.
In December Liv would have turned 21 yrs. I plan to run 21km, please help me raise £2,121.
I have attached the charity link below if you would like to find out more about this wonderful foundation.
