For those of you who don't know me I quite often dog sit for my friends when needed. Seems the latest 4 legged guest at Chateau Johnny had a reaction to a Saje Scent Diff-user, upon further inquiries I found out that some scent Diff-user blends can be toxic to some dogs.

Well Tyson, being a French Bulldog, had not only breathing difficulties, but an allergic reaction to the scent. Long story short, by the time I got Tyson to the 24hr Vet he wasn't doing the best. Tyson was quickly admitted with Aspiration pneumonia, Acute vomiting, Dilated esophagus. He was put in an Oxygen chamber over night and dealt with from their for his new found sicknesses.
The Total Bill came to $2,660 and I myself have no way of paying it all, but it is on my CC. The owners forked over $2000 for MY mistakes and I feel really bad about everything that happened. I fully expect myself to pick up a good chunk of the total bill over the next few months. It's just they way it goes BUT I was hoping that we might be able to alleviate some of the costs for the owners at the very least. The realistic goal is maybe $500-1000.
As of right now Tyson is back at my place in decent health and on the road to a full recovery. He is on a few antibiotics and missing some leg hair due to the IV's. But otherwise seeming none the worse for wear. His owners will be back on Nov 10 or 11th to pick him up.
If you can help Tyson, his owners, and myself out with a $1 or anything more that's awesome and we thank you very much for making this unfortunate moment a little more bearable for everyone involved. As I believe, "Shared joy is increased, and shared pain is decreased".
I would be so thankful if you feel like helping us out as I feel I was the one who placed them in this burden. If I could take care of it myself I would, unfortunately I myself am not in that kind of financial position. I know I try hard not to ask much of any one unless, I really need to, but I am always willing to help out with what I can when I can for anyone I know. So if you do find it in your heart to help out and at the very least help recover some of the owners bills for my stupidity, I'd like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH ! It means the world to me right now.
If not well that's perfectly alright and thank you for at least taking the time to read this. We can not help everyone all the time, that's just life. And we all must take care of ourselves and our Family first.
Thank you again for listening and I would like to thank the team at Canada West Veterinary Clinic for their wonderful work with Tyson and taking such good care of him for us.
Sincerely
John
