Tamborello's Tough Journey through Cancer

The Tamborellos are tough, but this is turning out to be tougher than anyone imagined. As many of you know, my sister-in-law Jeanie Tamborello was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2022 and went through 20 months of grueling chemo, surgery & radiation. She was able to ring the bell (final treatment completed!) in October 2023, but that victory was short lived. We found out in January that the cancer was back and this time it is Stage 4, metastatic breast cancer, in her lungs. The chances that Stage 4 breast cancer will go into remission are almost non-existent. Jeanie & my brother Mickie have been together for over forty years and If you want to know what true love looks like, it is watching the actions that Mickie takes on, 24/7, to take care of Jeanie.
