My sister, Angela, was diagnosed with DCIS, which is a form of breast cancer. She will be undergoing a partial mastectomy in August to remove the cancerous cells. After that, she will be undergoing radiation for several weeks following her surgery. This will necessitate her taking a leave of absence from her job.
