Hello,

I have created this fundraiser on behalf of my daughter, Alexandrea, who is currently unable to work due to a serious ankle injury.

Alexandrea sustained an injury that resulted in several complete ligament disruptions and joint instability, leaving her non-weight bearing and requiring ongoing medical care. Because of this, she is unable to return to work and is facing an extended recovery period that will include surgery.

She lives alone and was financially independent prior to this injury. The sudden loss of income, combined with medical and living expenses, has created a significant financial gap during her recovery. With no ability to work and no immediate income, she is now facing mounting financial stress related to rent, basic living expenses, medical bills, and lost wages. While she has recently been able to enroll in Medicare, it does not cover all of the costs associated with surgery, recovery, and day-to-day living while she heals.

Due to her injury and living alone, she could no longer safely care for her dog Dash, and losing that companionship has added an emotional toll on top of everything else.

I am starting this fundraiser to help support her during this recovery period, specifically to assist with:

• Medical and surgical expenses not fully covered by insurance

• Rent and essential living costs

• Lost income while she is unable to work

• Recovery and rehabilitation equipment needs
