Alice and John’s Medical Expenses

Imagine being given news one day that your spouse has cancer. All of the tests, travel, days off, and appointments to plan for.

Then within a month, you’re responding to a joke and can’t understand yourself. You’re on the ground, the phone call is being made. You just had a stroke.

Now with ongoing medical bills, you’re out of work and everyone needs help making ends meet.

This is the story of my step dad and my mom. While fighting the early battle of cancer to keep it from spreading, my mom had a stroke and is now in the hospital ICU unable to work. We know as a family that bills are mounting in this time. We’re trying our hardest to be present and support recovery and battling cancer, while also being proactive to recover lost funds to these events.
