Skye is a dedicated mother, coach, and friend whose inspiration shines brightly as she’s courageously fighting Stage 4 metastatic melanoma.

Her journey began in August 2024. Despite a difficult surgery in December 2024 to remove a large tumor and 47 lymph nodes from her armpit, the diagnosis was changed to Stage 4 by February 2025 after cancer was found in both lungs. Her most recent challenge was the 5 tumors discovered in her brain on July 29, 2025.

She is now receiving immunotherapy combined with radiation. This is the latest in a series of immunotherapy treatments attempted since February; she is hoping to tolerate this regimen for the necessary year-long course. She also faces a lifelong challenge managing fluid buildup (lymphedema) in her arm, requiring lymphatic massages and, she needs a lymphatic pump, which is not covered by insurance and is not cheap.

Skye is facing a difficult financial crisis. Her ongoing treatments and numerous doctor's appointments have forced her to take significant time off work, straining her income. To make matters worse, her car recently broke down, leaving her stranded and reliant on her mother's vehicle. While Skye's parents have stepped up to help in countless ways, we want to do more.
