Let's Help Michelle!

Donation protected
I am sad to announce that Michelle's fiancé very suddenly and tragically passed away. Many of you know him, as he was a part of her life for 12 beautiful years and was a supportive member of our community.

R was the kindest and most wonderful person you could ever hope to meet. If R and Michelle were a part of your lives, you knew that you had two incredible human beings around who always would be there to make you smile, lift you out of a dark time, and give you the clothes off of their backs. He and Michelle were in love every day of their lives together and were inseparable. They had a love that was beautiful, special, and rare. They knew it from the first time R smiled at her upon their first meeting, and they have been madly in love with one another ever since.

If I could tell you their love story, how much they’ve both been through together, how much they have supported and loved one another, and how far they have come, it would bring tears to your eyes. No matter how dark times were and what unfair obstacles life constantly threw at them, they were always getting through it with their never ending love for one another. Their love is the type of love that poets and authors write about.

R was an example of what a partner should be. He was devoted, kind, loyal and treated everyone around him with nothing but respect. If you were a part of his life, you became family. I loved how he made my best friend so happy. He loved her so much and they wanted the world for each other.

They were trying to build a life for themselves in Florida. They had plans for the future and were working hard at getting through a very rough time so they could one day get married and travel the world together. They even talked about starting a family. Unfortunately, their dreams were shattered.

Michelle is sick with grief, as she has lost her best friend and the love of her life, the man who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. R's passing has caused her to endure severe trauma, leaving her shaken and in shock. Her friends and family have begun to come to support her so she isn’t suffering alone. She will not be able to work for a very long time as she must go through a long grieving and healing process. She is going to need help until she can find the strength to work again. She must deal with the expenses of losing R as well as keeping her studios and event spaces from going under. This is going to be difficult (as many of you know she is financially supporting her mother who almost passed away last years). I am asking as her best friend and someone who has known them both for many years for help.

Please donate if you can. Any amount is helpful at any time (whether it's now, next week, or next month). If you are able, please donate through PayPal so she can avoid GoFundMe fees (the higher the amount on GFM, the higher the fees.) Michelle's PayPal email is MichelleLacy85 (AT) yahoo (DOT) com. Please send via "Friends & Family" so that fees can be avoided.

Thank you so much!
-Lydia
