Reece's 3rd Open Heart Surgery

Almost 4 years ago, I was blessed to be the Aunt of a heart hero. On March 23rd, 2016, my little buddy has to go back to Boston Children's Hospital to have his 3rd and (hopefully final) open heart surgery. Since Reece has been alive and fighting, there has been endless amounts of support and love throughout the community. It is truly amazing to see how many people truly love and care for Reece and his family. As Reece's Aunt, I know Shannon and Matt, Reece's parents, are truly thankful for everything that everyone has done for Reece. These surgeries save Reece's life and try to give him a better quality of life as well. As Shannon and I talked one day, she confided in me that her and Matt might not be able to get Reece to Boston for his surgery because the funds to get there and back are just not there. I knew something had to be done. I have started this GOFUNDME account to raise money to make sure Shannon and Matt can get themselves and Reece to Boston for his life saving procedure. Reece suffers from a congentital heart defect and also lung disease. This little man is almost 4 and he is the light of the family's eye. This little man is the true definition of a fighter.  All of the money donated will go directly to the family as they take on another battle, and another open heart surgery.
