In October of 2022, Mike noticed a lump growing on his leg. As his symptoms progressed to debilitating leg pain, he chose to seek help. A visit to the doctor in November brought a difficult reality as Mike’s battle with cancer began. With the support of his family, he began chemo treatment immediately. For the past 5 months, Mike has faced 5 straight days of chemo every 3 weeks, leaving him tired but hopeful for a chance at remission.
