Hello! For those who don’t know, we are David and Katie Harper. We are two average, ordinary people in almost every way with the exception of our fertility issues. Our 5 year fertility battle consists of various challenges and multiple heartbreaks.

Our journey began in 2018 when we decided to make our dream to have a family a reality. Thankfully, we were blessed with our beautiful and amazing daughter, Chloe, in 2020 after many months of trying and with the assistance of medication. A few months after Chloe was born, we decided it was time to try again as it is our dream to give Chloe a sibling.

In October of 2021, we tragically lost our son, Elijah, in the middle of the second trimester. Since then, we have suffered recurrent pregnancy loss. We have had 4 devastating back to back miscarriages between 6 weeks to 11 weeks of the first trimester over the past two years. The next recommended step for us is to do IVF in order to complete genetic testing on embryos before implantation.

Our first consultation appointment is scheduled for the beginning of September. As we potentially move forward in this process, we acknowledge there are many challenges in this path. The biggest obstacle we face on this journey is the financial aspect of the treatment. We are in need of and asking for financial assistance to help us achieve our dream of giving Chloe a sibling. Any funds donated to us will only be used for our IVF Journey. We understand that not everyone is able to give financially, but we appreciate any and all types of support we mar receive.
