Urgent fund raising to repatriate dead body to India:

ਬੜੇ ਹੀ ਦੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬ੍ਰਿਸਬੇਨ ਦੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਈਗਲਬੀ (Eagleby) ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਇੱਕ 23 ਸਾਲਾ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਦੀ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦਿਨੇਸ਼ ਜੱਸਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ।

ਦਿਨੇਸ਼ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਮਕਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਟੂਡੈਂਟ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ’ਤੇ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਇੰਨੀ ਜਲਦੀ ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਇੰਨੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਏਗੀ।

ਉਹ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ, ਸੰਜੀਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਕਸ਼ਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਸੀ। ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੀ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਂ-ਬਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਦਮੇ ਨਾਲ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਏ। ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਵਾਨ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਦਰਦ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।

ਇੱਥੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਸਬੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਭੇਜਣ ਲਈ ਭਾਈ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਬੋਪਾਰਾਏ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮਾਪੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਾਡਲੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਰੀ ਵਾਰ ਦੇਖ ਸਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਖਰੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਰਸਮਾਂ ਅਦਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ।

ਫਿਊਨਰਲ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਅਗਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਭੇਜਣ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਲਗਭਗ 12,000 ਡਾਲਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਰਕਮ ਦੁਖੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਲਿਆਂ ਭਰਨੀ ਅਸੰਭਵ ਹੈ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਸਭ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜੇ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਭਾਰੀ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਘੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੀਏ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮਾਂ-ਬਾਪ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਵਿਦਾਇਗੀ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਤਨ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਮਿਲ ਸਕੇ।

Urgent fund raising to repatriate dead body to India:

A 23 years old Punjabi student died suddenly in Eagleby suburb in South side of Brisbane on last Sunday. His name is Dinesh Jassal, he is from Jalandher city in Punjab. He arrived in Australia on student visa in 2023 with full of hope for his bright future.

He was sharing house with a Punjabi family since one year. He was quiet and only concentrated to his own goals. He has no one raletive or known close friend in Australia. We are only people who were sharing house with him. We found his family contacts and explained the family regarding his sudden death. And his parents were shocked.

Here in Brisbane our friend told us that contact to bhaji Manjit Boparai to help for repatriation of dead body to India, so that parents and relatives could organise last goodbye and religious ceremonies.

The funeral director is organising to repatriate the dead body to India next week. But the cost is about $12000. We are requesting for community support to raise the funds. It’s a costly process the grieving family can’t afford. Please help us so that parents could hold their last rituals.
