My family and I appreciate you taking the time to read and consider this fundraiser. We’ve started this fundraiser to assist with a $4,900.00 expense to pay for a surgery for a lovely dog my family and I recently found on the street. She was found covered in what appeared to be motor oil. Our goal was to clean her up and take her to the vet to see if she was chipped. As time progressed, we noticed she would not put pressure on her left

leg when she walked. Eventually her left leg began to swell and change color, to a dark purple. We have since taken her to the vet and we’re informed she is not chipped and has a fracture on her left leg that will require immediate surgery. Just the surgery to repair her fractured leg is $4,900.00. As such, this is an unanticipated expense and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. We have affectionately began to call this pretty girl, Sandy and are committed to foster her until we find a perfect forever home for her.
