The Montecinos family needs your help!

Back in December, Emily, Josh, and their two boys were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new sweet daughter. At 8 months pregnant, Emily came down with the flu, and a regular urgent care visit turned into the discovery of a cancerous tumor in her chest.

Baby Faith arrived happy and healthy in January, but these last few months have been very challenging as they are caring for a newborn, adjusting to life as a family of five, and assembling a team of doctors to care for Emily. Her body is trying to do so much - postpartum recovery and now, fighting cancer.

The best treatment plan forward is not covered by their insurance and involves doctors’ visits, blood work, medications and supplements, and massive diet and lifestyle changes. Emily will be traveling back and forth between Michigan and Green Bay, Wisconsin for appointments, testing, and life-saving infusions for the next 6-12 months. They’ve put their house on the market and are hoping to buy a new home that will meet their current needs. All of this, while caring for their 3 young children, has been no small feat.

This fundraiser will help defray the cost of these current challenges. The longterm goal is to raise $48,000, but we will work towards meeting smaller benchmark goals along the way.

We know that God is in control and is faithful in all circumstances - even the ones we do not understand! He holds Emily, Josh, and their family in his hands as they seek to restore Emily’s health and return to normal life.
