My name is Vanessa and I'm in and from the United States. I went on vacation about four years ago and fell in love with Jamaica. It became my second home. Actually, in the homes of some incredible people who extended friendship to me while there (not in hotels). They are now in need of our help. I want to thank all of you who have given to charities to help those affected by Hurricane Melissa. But as you know many people will never see that help. I want to give the opportunity for you to see exactly how your money is helping six amazing families. (Others may soon join). I will post updates weekly on progress. Among the families are 11 children ranging from the ages of newborn to 15 years of age. They need food, water, clothes, and money to rebuild their homes. The sooner the better as when it rains again, they will suffer their things to ruin again. I thank God for each and every one of you. And may he rebuild better than ever for thru you his mercy is shown. Since this will be an ongoing process, it would be great to have repeat donors who could give every, if possible.
