Hi, my name is Kayla, and I am Jonny’s sister. I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of our family as my brother faces one of the hardest battles of his life.

On Friday, December 5th, Jonny was at work when a fight broke out near him. In true Jonny fashion, being the charismatic, big-hearted guy he’s always been, he stepped in to try to stop it. Before he knew it, one of the individuals involved struck him, causing him to fall back and hit his head pretty hard on the concrete.

The people who started the altercation fled the scene, leaving my brother on the ground, critically injured.

Jonny is now in the ICU in critical condition with several major issues that need to improve before we can even begin to breathe again. He suffered a fractured skull and a brain bleed, which means he has a long and difficult road to recovery ahead of him. His livelihood is now on pause until he’s able to get back on his feet.

We are raising funds to help with medical expenses and to support Jonny with any needs he will have as he begins the long journey towards healing. Any amount, no matter how small,will help lift some of the weight off his shoulders and support him through this unimaginable time.

If you know Jonny, you know he would do anything for the people he loves. He has always shown up for his friends, family, and coworkers. Now, he needs all of us to show up for him.
