Hello. I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my parents, Tony and Ann Kinard. Last night, a fire claimed their home of 40 years in the Sangaree area on Highland Ave. The house is a total loss. Fortunately, only my brother was home and was able to get out. Their dog was in the backyard, but they lost 2 pet parakeets. They have the clothes that they were wearing and a garbage bag of clothes they are hoping to salvage.

We do not know how long they will be displaced, but expect it to be a long period of time. They fortunately do have insurance and have been provided a 30 day stay at an extended stay hotel. After that, we are unsure where they will end up to try to rebuild their lives.

Humbly, I am asking for any donation, no matter how small, to try and help them with personal items, medications, and expenses such as food while we wait on insurance to kick in. Thank you.
