hello all! Karl and SarahBess here: We are almost under contact with the fixer-upper home of our dreams! The details are still in the works, but we are closer than ever! While we have the financing for the purchase and general rehab for the house, we are hoping to generate a fund to help with the known renovation costs. Upgrades of the heating and electrical systems, among other repairs, will be our main goals.
This fund will help us get our dream home in the Burlington area to meet the minimum housing standards (so we can live there!). We are reaching out to our family, friends and wider community for support. Yes- financial support, as well as volunteer hour-age support.
We've generated a "wish list" to give you an idea of just some of the expenses, but by no means is it a dictation of the gift-level. We sincerely appreciate any gift amount, from $1 to $1 miiiiillion!!
