Most of you know me from the soccer field — the one always running, laughing, pushing hard, and never giving up. Others know me from work, where I’ve always taken pride in showing up, doing my part, and supporting my family. I’ve always tried to stay strong, stay positive, and keep moving forward.
But right now, life has brought me to one of the hardest battles I’ve ever faced.
A few weeks ago, my leg became painfully swollen, and deep down I knew something wasn’t right. After going to the doctor, I heard the words that stopped my whole world:
“Your cancer is back.”
I’ve been diagnosed again with C10 positive B-cell lymphoma. Hearing that for the second time broke something inside me — the fear, the uncertainty, the memories of what I went through before… it all came rushing back. I’m trying every day to stay strong, but this fight has already taken so much out of me.
The swelling and pain in my leg make it hard to stand, walk, or work. I haven’t been able to be on my feet like I used to, and I’ve had to stop working completely. For someone who’s always worked hard and pushed through everything, having to ask for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.
But right now, I can’t do this alone.
I’m reaching out to my friends, my family, my soccer community, and anyone who has ever crossed paths with me. If you’re able to help — even $1, a share, or just a prayer — it would mean the world to me. Every bit of support helps me breathe a little easier, fight a little harder, and hold onto hope.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Thank you for standing with me in this second battle. Your love, kindness, and prayers give me strength on the days I feel like I’m running out of it.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you.
