Hello, As some of you may have heard, Mary Jo was in an automobile accident on May 13 while on her way to visit her daughter and granddaughter for Mothers Day. She sustained spinal cord injury and will have a long hospital stay and recovery. The accident happened out of state which creates problems with insurance covering care in its entirety. We have been told that injuries could be as severe as paralysis and at minimum long-term in-patient rehabilitation. The uncovered portion of medical care not covered and personal income loss are going to be significant. We are estimating she may need to cover 6 months of her household expenses, insurance premiums, her deductibles and out of pocket expenses for her hospital and rehabilitation stay. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers for her recovery. We are asking for help to cover her expenses.
