Saving Coal

Feline Infectious Peritonitis, also known as FIP, is a very serious virus that can quickly develop and presents in 2 forms - wet and dry.

Our beloved Coal has been diagnosed with dry FIP, which means he has severe inflammation in all his organs. Up until recently, euthanasia was recommended for any cat with FIP. We are so grateful that there is a treatment, but it is expensive.

Each vial is $90. In order to keep Coal alive, he needs 1 injection per day for the next 84 days, bringing his total cost to $2,520.

Coal has been in my care since January. He was living on the streets in the Greater Nashville area, begging for attention to anyone who would give it to him. He loves his new indoor life, where he is able to be a lap cat who enjoys all the snuggles. I am looking forward to him being healthy again and being placed up for adoption.

I am asking for $2,000 to help me cover his expenses. I cannot do this without your support and without this treatment, Coal will not make it.

Thank you for loving Coal as much as I do.
