Sandy's Cancer Battle

It's with a heavy heart that I am having to write this.

As so many of us know, cancer is a disease that has directly affected a great number of people we care about. Unfortunately, it has hit the Moon Family yet once again.

In 2023, we were shocked and saddened to learn that Sandy Moon was diagnosed with Stage 3c/4a Uterine/Endometrial Cancer.

The tumor was determined to be malignant and inoperable due to the spread of the cancer to her bladder and lymphnodes. Consequently, she suffers from daily pain along with pelvic/leg numbness due to the large tumor that can not be removed. Chemotherapy and radiation were the only courses of treatment as an option. Managing the side effects from the Chemotherapy along with Radiation treatments has greatly affected her ability to work and provide stability. However, physically, mentally, and spiritually; Sandy is by far the strongest person I know. After losing her dad John in 2011 and mom Stephanie in 2021, both to cancer, she is all too familiar with this process. She has kept this diagnosis to only herself and a few people as she didn't want anyone to worry about her, but as we all know, prayers and support can mean everything to someone at a time like this. Unfortunately, she was dealt this debilitating diagnosis and needs our help. We kindly ask for your support in contributing to Sandy's GoFundMe.
