Hi I'm Arrowsmith from D Coy 5 Rifles. Being a part of the Rifles means being a part of a family and when a member of our family is suffering, we help however we can. Unfortunately a few weeks ago, Arthur, the 3 year old son of one of our families was diagnosed with acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. A rare subtype of the most common childhood cancer. Besides this devastating news, treatment comes with so many unforseen demands and expenses such as travel and fuel, food for the family while staying in hospitals, even the coffee from a vending machine on a sleepless night. It all adds up and puts so much more pressure on a family that needs all the help they can get.
