We’re parents of two young children struggling with financial hardship and health concerns.
I’m dealing with stress-related heart issues that cause chest pain, breathing problems, and an unpredictable heart rate. My husband is injured and limited in work.
We’ve fallen behind on our mortgage and bills and need help to stabilize our family.
We are currently $40,000 behind on our mortgage and need help covering $30,000 in essential bills over the next six months. Our goal is $70,000 (or $75,000), which will give us the chance to keep our home, care for our children, and regain stability. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us survive this difficult period.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Asking for help is one of the hardest things we’ve ever done, but as parents of two toddlers facing medical hardships and financial collapse, we are reaching out with hope and gratitude.
Our Struggles
I was recently diagnosed with a heart condition caused by stress and anxiety, limiting my ability to work. My husband had an accident that prevents him from standing or sitting for long periods and wearing closed shoes, making finding work extremely difficult. Despite countless applications and my online French tutoring, we are falling behind on bills and at risk of losing the one place that means everything to us.
Our Home Is Our Refuge
This home is not just a house. It is where I gave birth, where we healed after family trauma, and where our children feel safe. Losing it would break us.
Why We’re Asking for Help
We are seeking support to catch up on our mortgage, pay essential bills, and keep our children safe. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us hold on to our home and rebuild our lives.
Thank you for reading our story and for helping our family keep our home.
With gratitude,
Caroline & Family
