Hello, my name is, Laloni Stephenson, I have set up this account to help my daughter Kayloni and her fiance Jacob and their preemie infant BrynnLey. Kayloni was put on maternity leave due to going into premature labor a couple of times even after receiving weekly shots to try and prevent early labor. Jacob's employment has not really picked up yet due to it being seasonal and he is actively seeking other employment. June 10, 2016 they were on a life flight to Billings Clinic in Montana, as Kayloni went into labor at 33 weeks. Four days later BrynnLey joined her family. During those four days Kayloni started having more complications on top the the premature labor her body was now have seizures. These were and continue to be scary for her and her family members. Within minutes of giving birth Kayloni experienced another seizure, as a result of this seizure she does not have much memory of giving birth to her beautiful baby girl. BrynnLey was taken to the NICU and remains there at this time.
She was placed on a CPAP machine to aide her in breathing, as breathing took to much of her energy from her tiny body. She then was put on just oxygen and a G-tube aka feeding tube. Trying to nurse was also too difficult for her little body and would wear her out. As a result she was loosing weight not gaining. At this time BrynnLey still has the G-tube however is receiving breast milk from a bottle as it is less work for her body. BrynnLey was also placed under "blue" lights as she was getting jaundice.
Both Kayloni and BrynnLey are fighting hard to get to come home. At this time Kayloni is waiting to see a Neurologist about the seizure but after some test we have been told to prepare ourselves for the likely hood that she has epilepsy. Which will forever change our families lives. .
These two ladies belong to wonderful families who love them and have been supporting them and right by their sides. This however is becoming a hardship on all involved. The donations will be used for medical expenses and trips also to help support this family while they are trying to support two different households at this time.
