Team Ruby

As most of you know Ruby  is in the midst of fighting Ewings Sarcoma, a form of bone cancer.  I am in awe with how our community has come together to show such heartfelt support for this amazing family during such a difficult time!

The Gosherts have done a marvelous job at adjusting to their new reality and schedule.  Both Mom and Dad (Mike and Danielle) are still working (as much as possible ) and the kids are still enjoying their extra curricular activities!  Ruby is a trombonist and music is her true passion.  The Benicia Middle School Viking Band has been a huge support to Ruby and her family.  
Although Ruby is unable to attend school and participate in marching band, she  is still playing with Diablo Wind Symphony   inbetween treatments.  Her brother, Vaughn,  is a member of Benicia Wolfpack Baseball  and plays basketball with Bay Area Renegades. Both of these sports organizations have also offered much love and support to Team Ruby!

We would like to raise money to help support Mike and Danielle so that they may be by Ruby's side, with a little more ease, as she fights cancer...a fight we all know RUBY WILL WIN!!
