At Robin Hood Lane we pride our selves with being at the heart of our community.
Every year, we fundraise for organisations that are making a difference in people's lives. This year we have chosen to support the Paul Alan Project CIC, who are a life saving charity in Sutton. Clare, the founder set it up in her late father's name, Paul Alan. You can read more about her "why" here: https://www.thepaulalanproject.org/ourwhy
Keeping hearts healthy is a big part of what we do as a GP surgery. But sadly people can still have cardiac arrests (when your heart stops beating). If this happens to someone you know, or to someone in the street, would you know what to do?
Clare has trained over 1000 Sutton residents, how to perform basic CPR (or chest compressions) and how to use a defibrillator for FREE.
Not only that, her charity has also provided a huge number of community defibrillators in the local Sutton community. This is to make sure that if you ever need one, there isn't one too far away.
We will be walking a "heart shaped" route between some of the Paul Alan Project defibrillators in Central Sutton, on the 31st May 2025. Starting at 11am and ending at the Robin Hood Pub.
Please help us support this incredible local charity, who are making life saving training and defibrillators more accessible to all!
