Walk with Savanna
Donation protected
Savanna was born second to her twin sister, 12 weeks premature. By the age of 6 months she was not quite developing like her sister and her parents starting seeking out answers. When she was 18 months old they finally received the diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy.
At two years old, Savanna was unable to stand unassisted or walk without aid. She suffered from eating, sleeping and bowel issues that disturb normal daily function. In April Savanna underwent a life changing procedure called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy in St. Louis. The procedure reduced the spasticity permanently, allowing Savanna to learn to stand, walk, eat a varied diet and sleep just as normal any child her age.
This fund will help cover the high insurance deductibles for occupational/speech/physical therapy, a therapeutic tricycle and for a three week intensive physical therapy course specific for post SDR patients in Houston.
