Last night, we almost lost our sweet Khaleesi. At just 6 years old, she was diagnosed with aggressive, widespread blood cancer. Even with a prior surgery and spleen removal, her cancer has only gotten worse. Yesterday, she began bleeding internally, and while the doctors saved her life and removed two orange-sized tumors, they found multiple tumors growing inside of her. We do not know how much longer she has with us, but she is loved beyond words, and we're doing everything in our power for our sweet girl.
