Today is our 10th Wedding anniversary
My husband has very kindly bought me a 30
minute flying lesson in a 2 seater  light aircraft !

At least , I think it was kind

Anyone that knows me well , knows that I am
absolutely terrified of flying as a passenger!

The thought of being a passenger in a 2 seater light aircraft fills me with absolute dread !
Never mind actually flying it !! 

I am absolutely terrified , shaking even
thinking about it !! 

However , I  have decided to use this  
opportunity to raise funds for a charity very
dear to my heart - the Motor  Neurone
Disease Association . 

A wicked and evil disease that changed my life forever in March 2019 , leaving our family
with a devastating loss

My intense fear and terror  of flying and
fulfilling this challenge , feels very insignificant compared to living a life with this evil disease ! 

I know that my Dad would be so proud of me
and would be stood cheering me along on the edge of the runway if he could ! 

The MNDA are the most amazing charity ,
they provided instant emotional support ,
financial support , help and understanding
throughout our devastating journey. 

I feel that it’s now my time to pay back some oftheir kindness and  overwhelming  support . 

I have been considering doing some
fundraising for this amazing organisation for
some time , and now 19 months on -  I feel
strong enough to fulfill this wish of mine .
