Boston Marathon Bound

Hello,

My name is Mary Michelle and I am officially Boston Marathon bound! The Boston Marathon has been a dream of mine for years. It is considered one of the 6 “World Majors” that is inclusive of Chicago, New York, Tokyo, London and Berlin. To be accepted into the race is a major opportunity and to finish it would be a huge achievement.

When is the race: The Boston Marathon takes place in Boston, Massachusetts on Monday, April 18, 2022.

How your donation will be used:

I intend to utilize funds for travel (including registration, hotels, flight and incidentals) as well as making a donation to a literacy program that provides books to disadvantaged and underperforming students.

A little about me:

I have 3 girls that call me mom. Two of them are Seniors this year- 1 graduating from Howard University and 1 from High school. I also have 13 girls that call me coach, 150 students that call me teacher, and I work at one of the greatest High Schools in the world- Little Rock Central High!
