Creating this was hard for me, I'm not someone that likes to ask for help. But I can't let money become the deciding factor for Jasper's future.

 

Oct 30th Jasper bit an ATV tire and was flipped onto pavement. We rushed him to the Oakdale Emergency and referral center. Where we discovered he had a dislocated hip, severely bruised lungs, broken teeth, several deep gashes, and was going into shock.

 

They were able to stabilize and put him under anesthesia to pop his hip back into place. When they started tugging on his leg, blood came up the intubation tube so they had to abort the procedure to make sure there wasn't blood pooling up in his lungs, he's been in an oxygen tank ever since. 

 

Tomorrow they are going to reattempt resetting his hip, if they can't he will have to be rushed into surgery and have something called a FHO done where they will remove the top of his femur. He also needs 3 teeth surgically removed but that will have to be a separate surgery. 

That first night alone maxed out my Care Credit card and dipped into my savings. 

 

Their rough estimate for everything excluding his teeth is $7,000-$11,000 then once he is recovered from that we are hoping his normal vet will be able to perform the oral surgery.
