Jim Davis is accusing April of recanting her claim of sexual assault. None of this is true. Jim claims the dates APRIL claimed the assault happened are wrong. These are not true. My name is Linda Gifford. I'm raising money on behalf of Wendy Penniman, my youngest daughter. In 2006, my middle daughter, April, was sexually assaulted by our former township trustee, Jim Davis. Wendy has spent many years seeking justice for April, but even more so since April's death. Said trustee had/has friends in high places and April was afraid of retaliation even though we have police photos of what he did to her. She never had the confidence to press charges, so he remained free. We have testimony of other women he has assaulted. Wendy and our family, along with many friends, attended a township meeting in September where she confronted him. He subsequently lost his bid for a new term and is now suing her for defamation and for losing the election. Jim Davis is now attempting a money grab and in order to ensure Jim Davis gets put in his place again, she will need assistance with legal fees.
