Help Josie pay her medical bills

Hi everyone!
My name is Tracy McCarthy and I have created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend, Josie Dulle. Josie is one of the unfortunate ones that caught COVID, fell life-threateningly ill, and had to go through a long, difficult, and expensive recovery. We are overjoyed that she lived, but she is now facing $25,000 in medical bills from the emergency care and lengthy hospital and rehab stays that she needed.
Just before Thanksgiving, sweet Josie caught Covid at her job at Cole County Residential Services, where she has worked 23 years as a selfless caretaker of developmentally disabled adults in a group home. Because of the seriousness of her condition, Josie had to be life-flighted to another hospital where she was placed in Critical Care. She developed pneumonia and gangrene and had to undergo five surgeries. Once she started improving, they transported her to rehab for three weeks. She suffered setbacks that resulted in returning to the hospital twice to receive blood and deal with infection. Josie is finally home where she continues to heal and is receiving home health care.
To know Josie is to love Josie! She has a heart of gold and has dedicated her adult life to helping those with mental and physical disabilities. The residents she serves adore her - her wonderful sense of humor and joy is an irresistible magnet.
It was in serving her clients that she found herself in this terribly difficult situation. Her job is worthy work that Josie cares about deeply but unfortunately, it is a low-paying job that has not enabled her to have the kind of savings to pay $25,000 in medical bills.
Please consider helping Josie. She is a single woman with no living parents and four living siblings with no financial resources to assist her.
