Dear Friends and Family-

Early this upcoming summer I will be taking an organized trip to Costa Rica through a program called Global Leadership Adventures (GLA). I am not totally sure what to expect, but I feel the opportunity to experience another culture will have a positive impact on me. I will be volunteering for 10 days in a small village and school working on educational and environmental development projects including helping vulnerable citizens, improving schools, cleaning up beaches, playing sports with local children, practicing Spanish and, (my favorite) making new friends from all over the world.

I am super excited. Due to the high cost of programming and international travel, I am reaching out to my friends and family to help sponsor me on this life-changing journey. In July, I will gladly share my photos, experiences, and trip details upon request.
